How you can help
Strong public healthcare depends on people speaking up.
Kaitiaki Hauora is building a nationwide movement to protect and strengthen publicly funded healthcare in Aotearoa.
There are many ways you can help. Choose one thing you can do today.
Follow and share
One of the easiest ways to support the campaign is simply to share the message.
Follow Kaitiaki Hauora on social media and share our posts so more people see what is happening in our public health system. We are on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Write a letter to the editor
Letters to the editor remain one of the most effective ways to influence public debate.
Published letters help show editors, journalists and politicians that strong public healthcare matters to people across Aotearoa.
If you’ve never written one before, don’t worry. We have a simple guide to help you get started.
Read our guide to writing letters to the editor.
Put up a poster
Help spread the word by displaying a Kaitiaki Hauora poster in your workplace or community.
You might consider putting one up in:
• your workplace
• a local café
• a community noticeboard
• a library or community centre
Support the campaign
Campaigns like this rely on people who care about the future of public healthcare and are willing to stand up for it.
Donations help fund advocacy, media engagement, and campaigning to strengthen our health system.
